Your 15 Minutes...
Gloria Allred first jumped on the national radar back in 1995, when she poster-sized a picture of Nicole Brown Simpson, appeared on Oprah, Sally Jesse Raphael, and any other show that would have her, and proudly declared herself a champion for battered women everywhere. One can say that Gloria Allred has never met a scandal or a news conference that she didn't like.
While the horrid Simpson murders gave her some legitimacy as an advocate (just barely), the current bandwagon of scandals she has attached herself to merely cement her reputation as an opportunist and a media whore. From the Arnold Schwarzeneggar bimbo blow up in the 2003 California gubernatorial election, to the Tiger Woods' sexcapades where she had no shame in representing women who had no shame in defrauding a loyal wife--all because they were stupid enough to sleep with a married man.
Many would agree with me that Gloria has jumped the shark with the current non-scandal that is California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman's illegal housekeeper issues. Greta Van Susteren rightly schools Gloria on this latest foolish quest to gain media exposure, while bankrupting and destroying other people's lives.
Whitman Scandal: "Smoking Gun" or Dirty Politics?
Would someone tell Gloria Allred that her 15 Minutes are up?
