This FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home is depressing on so many levels.
A friend posted a meme that described it perfectly.
“Remember that feeling you got when the second plane hit the Twin Towers and you realized what was going on? You should have that same feeling again right now.”
It doesn’t matter who the actor is or what he or she may have done, being targeted and tossed by 30 members of federal law enforcement because of supposed classified records violations is not only calculated, but deliberately cruel. How many others have gotten a pass for clear crimes and federal violations (paging Hunter Biden)?
This whole scenario reeks of corruption and naked partisanship. If you doubt this, look no further than the judge who green-lit the warrant for the raid. Before he became a judge, Bruce Reinhardt left his role in the U.S. Attorney’s office to work for none other than sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. This happened while Reinhardt was part of the prosecution investigating Epstein, according to The New York Post.
Reinhart was elevated to magistrate judge in March 2018 after 10 years in private practice. That November, the Miami Herald reported that he had represented several of Epstein’s employees — including, by Reinhart’s own admission to the outlet, Epstein’s pilots; his scheduler, Sarah Kellen; and Nadia Marcinkova, who Epstein once reportedly described as his “Yugoslavian sex slave.”
Kellen and Marcinkova were among Epstein’s lieutenants who were granted immunity as part of a controversial 2007 deal with federal prosecutors that allowed the pervert to plead guilty to state charges rather than federal crimes. Epstein wound up serving just 13 months in county jail and was granted work release.
The NY Post also dug into Judge Reinhardt’s financials, which showed he donated to Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign for the presidency.
The Florida federal magistrate judge who signed off on a search warrant authorizing the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort donated to Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign — months after he left the local US Attorney’s office to rep employees of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who had received immunity in the long-running sex-trafficking investigation of the financier.
Swampy is as swampy does.
It gets even swampier as details of the raid unfold. The Trump family stated that the FBI wanted the security cameras to be turned off and that they broke into Trump’s private safe. Trump’s attorneys have taken to Fox News, Real America’s Voice, and Right Side Broadcasting Network to confirm that they were not allowed to remain on the premises while the FBI conducted the raid.
There are even reports that they went through Melania Trump’s closet. What type of sensitive documents would be housed there?
When did we become a Banana Republic?
Richard Nixon and George W. Bush were not subjected to anything like this. But then, Nixon and Bush disappeared quietly into that good night.
Trump has not, and that alone boils their blood. It is clear: they want to make an example of him, as well as a cautionary tale to the American people.
We did this to a rich and powerful ex-President… imagine what we can do to you?
If people were starting to tune out, they are once again paying attention.

So, Democrats can kiss the midterms goodbye. House and Senate. People want America, with its rules, laws, and federal agencies that do their jobs and aren’t used as a goon squad to target and harass. You think those 87,000 IRS agents are for the rich and corrupt corporations?
Think again.
It’s pretty obvious that Democrats have no desire to hear about or address the concerns of average Americans. Instead, they want to go on witch hunts, punish their enemies, and keep certain people from the gates of power. If that means using the cudgel of federal law enforcement to do it, then so be it.
We’ve crossed the Rubicon, and it is another nail in the coffin of American ideals and freedoms.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. and the White House is running cover, pretending that Joe Biden had no prior knowledge about this raid.
Really, it doesn’t matter who is pulling these strings, because they have no idea the whirlwind that is coming their way. Democrats and the Left may be gloating and cackling now, but judgment is coming—and not for Donald Trump.
January 6 is officially a joke—only the true believers will continue to take the hearings seriously—if the hearings even continue (I have my doubts). After this brazen act by the DOJ, any pretense of “holding Trump accountable,” when they act without accountability is beyond farce.
And if this latest attempt to destroy Trump fails, they have pretty much cemented his 2024 presidential run.
Thank you for the judges background. The Dems just sealed their fate in the next election. Talk about a move that will backfire, this one will blow up the bottom feeders all the way to the bottom of the swamp.
