They Think We're Stupid...
Gaslighting on Gas, from Raggedy Jen to Bad Energy Secy Jennifer Granholm.
On Saturday, I paid $5.25 a gallon for regular gas in my corner of Orange Country. As pictures across the internet are reflecting, it is over $6.00 in other parts of California. This, while the California Legislature decided to vote down a suspension of the gas tax.
Big mistake. Huge. Once the Assembly staffers ears and phones stopped ringing, some claimed that they only voted “No,” because they didn’t have a chance to read the bill.
A TWO-PAGE BILL.
They think we’re stupid.
Asm. Kiley plans to bring the bill to the floor again, while Governor Hair Gel does a song and dance about giving Californians a $400.00 rebate.
So big of him.
Are these people seriously deluded, or seriously stupid?
California has the highest gas in the nation, but we have a governor and a legislature that is still lighting it up.
Good times.
Meanwhile, back in D.C., Raggedy Jen Psaki actually taped a PSA to explain to the American people that it really is Putin’s fault… or maybe it’s the oil companies… but it’s DEFINITELY NOT Joe Biden’s fault:
They really do think we’re stupid.
You have the same elitists who are crying about student loan forgiveness, telling the rest of us, “Buy a Tesla.”
Mr. Mom, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg went on the Sunday news shows to tell us about Biden’s plan to make electric vehicles more affordable to Americans, and wants us to know that we will do better off financially if that’s the case.
This is a man who couldn’t fill potholes in the tiny town of South Bend.
Here’s the hit, if you can stomach it. I just want to punch him in his smug, little face.
And lest I forget, there’s Secretary of Bad Energy Jennifer Granholm, who just thinks it’s a laughing matter.
This woman appeared in a music video a few years back about leaving gasoline in the ground.
I. Kid. You. Not.
Stellar crew, this administration. The height of professionalism, all of them.
If it were only gas prices, then that would be one thing. But higher gas prices means higher everything else.
The climate crazies don’t want to talk about this, or how much petroleum factors into our lives beyond the pain at the pump; from the price of potting soil to the cost of your car. You see, if that diesel fueled supply ship has to pay more to get that automobile from Japan to the port of Los Angeles, then the shipping company will offset that cost by charging it to the corporation. The corporation, in turn, offloads that price to the consumer. From a loaf of bread to your new kitchen cabinets, somebody is paying the freight, and that somebody is us.
Yet, the Biden administration is talking to us as if we’re five years old, and using TikTok influencers to keep peddling the narrative that it’s Putin’s fault you have to choose between filling your gas tank or filling your refrigerator.
November 2022 cannot come soon enough.
And surely you've seen this. It feels like the press is starting to see through the fog. https://twitter.com/EmilyTVproducer/status/1505252112082550784?s=20&t=GovJCVa5EzE-aFK_08q2vQ Sorry for pimping my Twitter feed!
Politicians don't care what we think. They know the average attention span of most people now is about as long as a tic toc video. People will forget this just as soon as the next insane thing hits the air waves
