The Week That Was: SCOTUS Slap Downs, Patriotism All Around and the Celebration of Our Nation
In the week of June 26-July 3, what preceded July 4 affirmed the power of our Constitutional freedoms.
I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th weekend and day! Ours was restful, as we are still establishing a new routine, and the pace here is much slower than what we’re used to. It’s a good problem.
The Supreme Court of the United States end-of-session decisions on Affirmative Action and Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness attempt were decisive, and in line with the Constitution. An shining example of what the founders intended for our constitutional republic was on display, despite the weeping and gnashing of teeth and cries about a rogue SCOTUS from the entitlement class.
The rest of the week was a focus on patriotism, what it means, and why those who fight for our nation should be honored.
A uniquely American Week That Was.
