Happy Thursday! This week is almost over, but you know the news cycle isn’t Monday to Friday anymore, so it could be slow on Monday and newsy on Saturday! Last weekend was a testament to this thanks to a certain megalomaniac and misguided governor from a Southwestern state. So, moving forward, I will be patching in with “The Week That Was” at random times within a given week, but still at least once a week.
What helps that along is my new website! After years of diminishing returns with my last web hosting service, I decided to make a move to a format that is much more suited to my world (and cheaper). “The Week That Was” is still housed there, but it is now a continuous feed—so any time I publish, it will automatically filter to that page. Makes my life so much simpler and allows those who do not follow any of the social media channels to easily find what’s In My Orbit!
And speaking of that, I am now one of the opinion columnists for 1819 News. It is an online news source that is Alabama-focused; hence, the name. The state of Alabama was incorporated into the union in 1819. Fun fact for your day! I’ll be penning a piece every other week or so, usually on the weekends, so be on the lookout.
In terms of the week thus far, some positive news has come out of the once-Golden State, but the corrupt progressive class will continue to try and make inroads, and there is one dangerous critter that needs to be exposed—doing my best, one article at a time. News and opinion on the New Mexico governor’s supposed 2A restriction and some Feel-Good stories to brighten the rest of your week of September 11-15th.
And hit me up in the comments and let me know how you like the new site!
