Per note from Licht to staff that we obtained, CNN+ staff will get 90 days of pay and benefits, after which, if they don’t find opportunities at the network, they’ll get 6 months severance with potentially more depending on lenght of prior service.

Cheering the failure of CNN+, however you feel about the idea behind it, is gross. Lots of people are losing their jobs. The high-priced hosts will be fine, but folks who are just trying to make a living in an industry that already pays shit wages… this sucks for them.

As is the nothing burger tapes of GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy that the legacy media is trying to make a big deal.
