Balenciaga, Hollywood, and the Cult of Moloch
This child exploitation is a tale as old as time.
The Cult of Moloch (or Molech) has been exposed once again, this time in a truly reprehensible ad by the fashion company Balenciaga.
Before your eyes glaze over, I’ll do a brief explainer about both.
First, what is The Cult of Moloch?
The god Moloch is mentioned most frequently in the Torah and biblical book of Leviticus, primarily as something that the God of Israel did not want his children participating in. In Leviticus 18:21 it says, “Do not allow any of your children to be offered to Molech.”
Whether as a rite of initiation, entreaty, or worship (all three have been covered historically), ancient people would literally offer up their children to a burning oven.
Sounds kind of familiar, doesn’t it?
Some 1920s archaeological digs in the Middle East discovered primary evidence of child sacrifice in the region, and researchers found the term MLK inscribed on numerous artifacts.
In the 1862 novel Salammbô, by Gustave Flaubert, he talks about the city of Carthage, and depicts child sacrifice in flowery detail:
“The victims, when scarcely at the edge of the opening, disappeared like a drop of water on a red-hot plate, and white smoke rose amid the great scarlet colour. Nevertheless, the appetite of the god was not appeased. He ever wished for more. In order to furnish him with a larger supply, the victims were piled up on his hands with a big chain above them which kept them in their place.”
This novel is purported to be historical.
Fast forward to 2022, and you have a big chain called the fashion industry (and others) who are piling up victims to be fed into Moloch’s furnace.
Which leads us to one of the bellies of this beast.
What is a Balenciaga?
Founded in 1919 by Cristóbal Balenciaga, Balenciaga SA is a high-end luxury fashion house. Shorter: if you have to ask how much it cost, then you probably cannot afford it.
While I appreciate some high fashion (if I had the means, I would be a Ralph Lauren girl without question), I have never loved pallorous, unhealthy-looking skinny people being shoved in my face wearing clothing that I could never afford. Adults choosing to be a part of this is one thing. When you start to involve children? That’s where it gets a little creepy.
In their latest campaign, Balenciaga went from creepy to beyond the pale.
From Fox News Digital:
High-fashion brand Balenciaga is facing backlash for an ad campaign that features photos of child models holding teddy bears dressed in bondage gear; the brand also used an image of a Supreme Court opinion in a child pornography case as a prop promoting a handbag.
The photographer for the ad campaign, Gabriele Galimberti, said the images were part of a project series called "Toy Stories," according to his Instagram page. The images, which now appear to be mostly scrubbed from the global brand’s website, sparked outrage from conservative activists.
Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women for America, a conservative women’s rights group, called the images "exploitive propaganda."
"This is not about them being provocative and getting attention," Nance said in an interview with Fox News Digital. "The entire campaign sexualizes children, period. It is child exploitation, period. And it feeds and normalizes a culture that is dark and depraved."
But don’t take their word for it. You decide…
Geek aside: Child sacrifice was also a part of the worship of the god Baal, and Moloch and Baal have been associated and interchanged in literature for centuries. Note the spelling of the company name on the duct tape.
It gets worse.
There are a plethora of tweets, videos, and threads from people who are diving deep into this company, and discovering just how disgusting Balenciaga is. Their peddling of pedophilia and bondage started long before this particular scandal. This video rounds them up pretty well. Warning: Graphic and disturbing images. Not for the faint of heart.
Balenciaga first denied they knew about the nature of this shoot’s “design.” Then, they claimed it came from “higher up” (more like lower down, if you get my drift), and now they are supposedly suing the production company they hired to mount the ad campaign for $25 million. According to sources, the company has also scrubbed any vestiges of this campaign from its social media portals and issued an apology via Instagram stories.
“We sincerely apologise for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused. Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign. We have immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.”
Nobody is buying this song and dance. People are rightly outraged, and rightly concerned for not only the children who were exploited in the ad, but the history of child trafficking and exploitation that exists in the fashion and entertainment circles that support them. From Beyonce, to Kim Kardashian, to Nicole Kidman, not one of these Balenciaga-sporting and supporting starlets have come out against what the fashion house is promoting. Kardashian issued a weak tea statement, but stopped short of wholesale condemning the brand or saying she was separating her own fashion line Skims from the house.
And these people have children. Let that sink in.
None of this is new. Balenciaga is not the first, nor will it be the last, to traffic in this Cult of Moloch. Recent documentaries like An Open Secret and Showbiz Kids, expose how the cult operates in Hollywood circles. SuperBowl Sunday is primetime in more ways than one, as sexual deviants and traffickers descend upon the city where the game is being held to sell children for sex or worse.
But you no longer even have to look to Tinseltown, fashionistas, or the sports world. “Gender affirming care” is being pushed in public schools as a part of sex education. The burning furnace now comes in the form of puberty blockers and mutilation of body parts. The destruction of innocence, the sacrifice of our children is all around us; it doesn’t require you buy into an expensive fashion brand to traffic in it.
Kickboxer and social commentator Andrew Tate lays down some harsh reality that we would do well to heed.
It’s all demonic. It’s all sick. It’s now in your face. The Cult of Moloch only wants more children and they will use any means to have them. #BalenciagaGate pretty much reveals that they don’t care if you know this.
Will you allow it to keep happening?
So Rumble keeps taking it down? That’s disappointing if so. Does the video have a title I can search for?
Hi Jennifer, thank you for covering this. We are failing our most vulnerable children if we don’t speak up and take action in our own spheres to disciple this generation to stand up and be a force for truth and love in this culture. Just a heads up-it looks like the unnamed video you linked to on Rumble has disappeared. Link now says “video not found.”
